I’m a software engineering manager at Science Exchange, working with Ruby on Rails to improve the UX of scientific research and collaboration.

Before that, I traveled around the United States in a 34-foot Airstream trailer with my girlfriend, my two dogs, and a cat, crowd-sourcing the stops we made along the way with a project called The Democratic Travelers that earned us the title of National Geographic Travelers of the Year in 2013. I am now renovating another Airstream in preparation for another round of nomad-ism.
